That's very impressive. I'll definitely remember this if (probably more like when) I ever fall into the same situation.

I will try and remember to take photos this friday. I have to say I checked them after you asked and am even happy with their growth over winter.

I think the key is that they are mature plants with still healthy roots. If the roots are also rotten there may not be much hope. They just had the tops rotted off with erwinia which I couldn't stop.

Amazing recovery, seriously can't wait to show you blooms even if it takes a few years or so.

I just got back from a holiday, will take some photos tomorrow. I also went to a few orchid nurseries so I will post photos of my acquisitions. Sorry for the delay, I keep forgetting.
