This should be an easy to grow hybrid. Grow this one in bright light and with lots of water.

I agree with what Casey said. If you have a Phrag Grande, then treat it like a Grande. How big is your plant and how many growths? Post photo of your plant if you can.

Many thanks all,
I do not have many phrags-just three Schroederae, Grande Chinaman and now Calurum. I am growing my phrags in coconut husk chips with charcoal and perlite; watering them using simple water circulation machinery regulated by timer. I am using RO water and the water tank is heated with aquarium heater (even in summer here in Melbourne, Australia we could easily have 13-15oC at night). What else - I am growing them in glasshouse. Air circulation comes from few computer funs connected to the solar panels/battery. During watering water covers ¾ of the pots and I water 2 times when t-ra is 30oC and higher and 1-2 times at lower tem-res. My phrags look very happy and new growings are keep coming – I can watch them growing… cheers Aidyn |
