This one is so cool...kind of like a horn of plenty....or that planet eating thing from the old Star Trek. Does anyone know what I mean by that :? or am I dating myself?

Well, it depends on which Planet Eating Entity you are referring to....:poke:

Very nice - reminds me of something related to a Brassavola....is it at all?

Star Trek? Is that when celebrities go on walks, like Gary Coleman goes hiking? :poke: Very beautiful Wendy I really like it!

It's beautiful!! Love the colors.

As for the "Horn of Plenty" Ohh yes, I recognize it and really date myself by being able to recognize it! You would have this container (or horn) and have your prouduce and fruit spilling out of it. It is really pretty. This was a 60's or 70's,, even into the 80's decorating fashion, but it has much older origins.

It goes much further back when humans first started to settle down and grow crops and celebrated the harvest.

Wendy,

Great picture! I love the Galeandras. I have a few of them (no pictures) including Galeandra claesii in which I recieved a CBR a number of years ago. I will try to get a good picture of it when it blooms next.
