I would keep that area nice and dry and wait and see what happens. Good luck! :fcrossed:

Exactly! Also put it where there is good humidity so that the plant wont desiccate.:fcrossed:

Do you think bark mix while having the tanning to keep down fungus & mold, burns a lot of roots as well as when it aged, this sort of contamination are seen often, because sometimes, the growth emerges from under the medium.

Looks to me that it could be anthracnose. Are there any lesions on the leaves? If it is anthracnose, Xyban is about the only think I think that would work to supress it, although I don't think it's curable.

Oooops! - It's called Zyban, not Xyban.

Have you checked for snails?

It was inside of the house. I don't believe there were any snails in the area.

I've had snails in my paphs that lived inside. Every paph I ever bought at Home Depot was totally infested with tiny brown snails. I learned to repot immediately! The damage they caused looks similar to your picture. But it could be something else. Keep us posted.

I'll Do that!
I don't think that it would be much of a loss if I lost it, because I only paid like 7.50 for it.

UPDATE:

I think that one of the plants is going to live, because it is making a new leaf. I don't know about the other one yet, but it has not died. The illness has not spread, and I have been applying my cinnamon every 2 weeks or so. I'm praying! :fcrossed:
