Just opened today. This is Phrag. Memoria Dick Clements, using P. besseae flavum as a parent.

Wow! Interesting, I don't think I've seen one of those, made with the yellow variety.

I have stayed away from this hybrid due to the size of sargeantianum...one I have managed to escape so far! Not sure how that is...anyway...

Peter, yes, should look super bright to you! :)

Actually, these are blooming on suprisingly small plants, about 12 inches, there are two blooming both about the same size.

Very pretty plant and I have never seen one made with a yellow bess! I'm surprised the plant is compact in size but it is still young and may get larger as it matures.

Lien,

Great picture!
The way the petals are framed in red is superb! I have seen a couple of flavum crosses, but this is exceptional!

Probably the best color I have seen in one of these. I spent real money on a flask of the MDC made with yellow besseae, and was generally disappointed with the results. Not all have bloomed out yet, but none had color as nice as yours.

Nice clone. Definitely throw another dose of flava on it, that is a great idea.
