TADD June 15th, 2005, 03:21 PM I found out that here in Coastal South Carolina and North Carolina is one of the only places in the world where Venus Fly Traps grow naturally. Pretty amazing I killed mine pretty quick, No I wasn't poking it or feeding it...
Greenpaph June 15th, 2005, 08:45 PM Excellent pictures! Now get the orchids to grow and bloom, then post pictures. I like the dark green flytrap.

Me too, it survived for about 5 months and then no new growths until it was gone.
couscous74 June 19th, 2005, 06:53 PM Nice plants.
Are those bamboo baskets? Where do you get those?
Grandma MC June 28th, 2005, 11:34 AM I had a venus fly trap several years ago. I also had several Grandchildren. Between the Grandchildren and their friends the fly trap was doomed. I would like another one but ......now I have 14 Great Grandchildren. If I find one it will be put out of reach of tiny little hands.

Great Grandma 14 X
Paphgirl June 28th, 2005, 11:36 AM Grandma (indeed!), you just need a venus fly trap like Marcus' avatar! But then you'd have to put the kids out of the reach of the plant, I guess!
couscous74 June 28th, 2005, 07:47 PM I bought one of those venus flytrap starter kits on ebay and made a compot with the four plants. Then the company sent me a second kit. :Shh:
So, I made a second compot. I'll try to post pics later this week.
Anad0n July 2nd, 2005, 10:39 AM Are those bamboo baskets? Where do you get those?
