I did a massive amount of yardwork today. And I didn't even get half finished with what I needed to do before I became totally exhausted and overheated. Note to self...wear pants while weedeating.:rolleyes: Here are a couple of garden shots for today:

Is it alocasia macrorhhiza? It is some kind of alocasia, I think.

The chubby plant is called a Buddha's Belly (jatropha podagrica). This is a young plant I grew from seed, and it is just starting to get a belly. The flowers attract butterflies, and the seed pods explode shooting seeds several feet. One photo is of the bloom, and the other is of the plant.

Oh heavens no...well actually I did, but these photos were taken with my old camera. You see the purple border around the rose pics? Well that is what my old camera does now to every single photo. Well not *every* photo...sometimes they come out all white and blank. :rolleyes: Occassionally I will get a normal photo without the purple border, or I crop it out. I left it with the purple rose because it matched. :rolleyes:
I think my old camera is tired of being dropped...from horseback... :poke:
I just ordered a new camera this week and am still waiting for it to come in the mail. :Party:
