I want to get them, but around here, all you can find are the vines around here.. and they are 120 bucks!

I had one for years, grew like crazy, almost invasive - NEVER bloomed!
I think I paid $30, tried everything- fertilized, didn't fertilize, top pruned, root pruned.

That's a cool look Ray. If your's is anything like my vines, you have to prune that baby three times a week!

Rose, interesting. I planted three vines two years ago. Two have flowered like mad, but one will not throw one flower stalk even though it is a very vigorous plant. I have no idea why...

Hi Tom ,
Whenever I am in the yard I have my prunners with me habit and I am always clipping at somthing. I have another that I am training into a tree form. I have seen the damage they can do if left to thier own . I had a friend who owned some property in the woods and there was a large building out back that had one that was a monster and lifted the uilding from it's fondation actually twisted it at a weird angle and to get inside you had to climb through the branches. I have no idea how long it was left like that before it became a monster but I was shocked to see what nature is capable of.Wish I could go there now and see what's left. He past away a few years ago and I don't know what became of the property.

Fred,

That is beautiful! I love them also!

Below is a picture of my Wisteria. I started it about 10-15 years ago from some seeds of my Grandmothers plant that was torn down after she died. I started the seeds in the greenhouse, hardened it off and planted it at my Mother's house in Revere, Massachussetts. I have been caring for every couple of months. Here is a picture I took last week:
