Here's another example of erwinia for your files. And another example that phrags suffer in my care. :poke: This is a Phrag Harbinger's Grasshopper. It has sort of been doing nothing for a year or so. Now it's got this yucky stuff. I am trying a natural remedy on it...we'll see if it lives!

Dragons Blood (Sangre De Grado) seems to stop erwinia in its tracks. It can usually be purchased in health food stores. As it is sold for human consumption I would presume it is not toxic.

It also works well directly applied to minor cuts and abrasions on humans and horses. The only drawback is it will discolor your skin. It's good stuff.

I think so too. I've had much worse cases than this that I have pulled out of with cinammon and a razor blade. And I paid $5 for this plant so I won't be too sad if it doesn't make it. Plus it's only a Phrag...:poke:

I have two plants that look like that. I can't grow orchids any more without Dragons Blood.
Thanks for this post, and the other one with all the pictures. I printed all the pictures and filed them in my book for reference.
