Gideon June 9th, 2005, 01:48 PM This one just keeps blooming as long as the old flower spikes are green, it keeps sending out new flowers. The little flowers are only around 1cm long.

Paphraguy June 9th, 2005, 01:50 PM Oh, wow, that is really tiny! Very nice!
Gideon June 9th, 2005, 02:20 PM Yes it is, and also never fully opens, so trying to pollinate it is quite a problem.

I wondered if it was fully open at this stage.

Yep, thats as far as mine goes. The tips curl out slightly on some flowers.

No need to buy one...the ants are free here, can't get rid of them.
I like the weird stuff, I am the guy who buys all the funny little pots behind the everyday Catts and Cymbidiums (although they sometimes find their way into my basket too). The species breeders clap hands when they see me comming.
Gideon July 22nd, 2005, 10:18 AM Finally it seems the numerous pollination attempts has paid off.

Greenpaph July 23rd, 2005, 12:02 AM Gideon,
Very nice pictures! Very unusual! Reminds me of the flower of Miltonia russeliana.
Thanks
