I rarely see these and absolutely love mine. Just wanted to give anyone interested a heads up. Piping Rock just got in a shipment and they all look nice, some of them are even in spike!! I didn't ask Glen how much he wanted for them for I already have one.

I use to have this species but I gave them away to my friends. It was growing like a weed. They like bright light and a fast draining medium that dries out every 3 or 4 days. I treated it like a Cattleya. The only problem is that I only bloomed it once in 9 years. The flowers are about a centimeter in size but it is very cute. My condition is too warm at night and it is probably the reason I can't get it to bloom every year like my friend does.

A friend of mine has had one for a few years now and his is growing on quickly he has it in a Bonzi pot looks great and gives it room to wander and the pot is shallow must make a difference cause there are quite a few growths for a few years. Ray
