That is an awesome display! Can you post some larger photos? That was is so tiny and I am dying to see more!

Glad that was entered at my show in CT!

Where is Longwood Gardens?

Thanks!

Always nice to see Cyps in flower. It looks like they got C. parviflorum and C. kentuckinese to flower together - no small feat! If you have closer shots, that would be nice!

Wowweeee!!!! I love that display! I'm not sure but I think Cyps require quite a different culture than Paphs, no? I totally love the way they look. Not sure if I'm ready for 'em though!

Longwood Gardens is in Kennett Square, PA, about 30 minutes out of Philadelphia, and 30 minutes from Wilmington, DE. It is an old DuPont family estate now open to the public as botanical gardens. I got dragged there a lot as a child by my enthusiatic gardening parents; it's only taken me around 30 years to begin to appreciate the place. Four seasons of the year, it is nothing short of amazing. The greenhouses alone are worth a pilgrimmage. At Christmas time, the outdoor lights display draws people from multiple states. Highly, highly recommended whenever you can get there.

They are quite different! I'd say that they are much harder too!
