Well, I finally took the plunge and got a decent besseae with 2 new growths and a ten inch leaf span. We'll see how it goes.

So, which kind did you get, the red or the yellow one? Peruvian or Ecuadoren? I love all the different bessies but my favorite would have to be the Peruvian type and the yellow ones!

Sheesh guys :lol: I don't even have it in hand yet! When I get it in a few days, I'll be sure to fill you in. All I know for sure at the moment is it's a Peruvian red and it'll go in my special sauce for a media.

On a side note...my wife and rats were hunting up names of local shrinks today. They caught me outside checking out the local green mosses and snagging a few mats. It didn't do any good at all to explain what my Sarracena was and why I needed them.

They always ask whenever I am in if I am expecting a plant - even on Mondays. They don't quite get it but they try. If I ever get my Cable Access show on, I'll have to let them know...
