sharon k. February 25th, 2007, 12:27 PM I only have 11 phrags now but intend to increase my haul when summer rolls around, which in turn will force me to create more space in "the basement" this fall when all come in for the winter.
Right now my list includes:
"Walter Schomburg"
"Achental" (richteri "Green Giant" x Hanna Popow 'Buttermilk') (with 1 spike ready to bloom, and another one just starting to emerge!)
"Don Wimber"
"Longifolium" var. hincksianum (with 2 spikes right now!)
"Ecudorense" 'Birchwood'
"Appalachian Sunset" 3N
"Mountain Maid"
"Silver Eagle"
"Wossen"
"Inca Embers"
"Will Chantry" (Klotzcheanum x besseae 'Red Flame')
These few keep me quite busy along with the other 120 different orchid species and hybrids I'm trying to maintain! Sharon
Paphraguy February 25th, 2007, 12:33 PM Nice Phrags, Sharon! Will Chantry is a beautiful hybrid. I would love to get one but I just don't have the space.

phragfan February 26th, 2007, 10:24 PM I have 103, after adding two to the list this past weekend. That's not counting seedlings out of flask less than a year.
jediknl1 February 27th, 2007, 02:46 PM I have nine phrag
Two I bought in bloom/spike, that are blooming now, this winter in St. Paul and three pearcii or pearcii croses and some others. Don't have the names off hand. One in bloom is Sorcerers Apprentince and at one time had 5 blooms open at the same time. Down to two now with one bud opening. The other one in bloom is Dick Clementsx prarcii birchwood. It has two buds open.
I have a Caudium that had one bloom on it when I got it and looks like it may have one more coming, who knows it it will get more after that. The Pearcii has a bloomed spike that is still in good shape and may have another bud forming. The rest are one mature growth plants a couple with small growths anywhere from to to 3 inches.
