Here is a photo on one of the many I saw when visiting some of the islands in the BVI. The May flowering was nothing short of spectacular!
This one was darker and seemed much more vigorous than it's many neighbors.

They grow both epiphitically and terrestially(spelling). The foliage is terete and they grow in almost ful sun. They seem VERY tough.

I'm not sure I appreciate the implication. However, there may be flasks at some point in the future.
