Those shoots look like they could bloom this year, if not then definitely next year. Nice plant! Mine died because of the harsh winter this year, and the fact that it was newly planted in the ground. I need to get a new one.

the shoots are now large enough for you to able to tell whether they will flower.
Just squeeze them very gently about half way down between the thumb and fore finger.
Flowering shoots have a distinctively different feel to non flowering shoots as you can feel a 'hard' area where the bud lies.
Non flowering shoots are 'soft' all the way down.
