Nope has color on the pouch. Should be clear yellow or white, whatever is the base color.

It doesn't even satisfy the condition that just the lip is white... So it's not in my opinion.

I would also have to say a BIG no.

That's interesting as many paph experts were there and believed it to be true and so did all the judges that saw it.

In fact I heard many glowing quotes as to being the 'find' of the conference.

Seriously I didn't hear any paph growers doubt it's true heritage. Are you sure it's not?

I spoke to two taxanomists and both opinion differ in view.
It was wrongly labeled and this was corrected by the judging team to Paph godefroyae. I saw it was wrongly labeled before the judging.
BTW it was sold to a Thai collector at an undisclosed sum. The siblings at the show were all sold. I am not sure if the price of the siblings is still fresh in your mind.

Ah ok, I wasn't privy to that conversation with you but that's good to know and clears it up. A lot of people were convinced it was ok and to be honest I don't see many so I assumed they were right. I can't remember the exact price of the siblings but I remember thinking they were expensive.
