hi everyone.. just a few questions about lighting. i am growing in a 3-tier light stand. each level with one 2-bulb setup. 48" each bulb. on the topmost level i grow the plants about 4-5 inches from the tubes <top of leaves>. at the 2 lower levels the plants are 6-7 inches below the lights. is this a good distance? are they too near the lights. i grow mostly parvis on the topmost. and some maudiae types and seq. bloomers. some of them are slower growing than i expected. could this be the reason?

With fluorescent lights, your Paphs would have to be as close as possible to the light especially the multiflorals. I have tried fluorescents lights and my multiflorals hated them but love the HID lights and the light is about 3ft above the plants.
