 In a recent episode of Desperate Housewives, slippers and orchids were shown.
The character Bree and her husband, Rex buys a slipper at an orchid show. I think the plant
behind Bree is a Sharry Baby in bloom. Rumor has it that Bree in the next season will become
obsessed with slippers and collects and grows many slippers and meets a mysterious man
who breeds sanderianums! I don't know how true that is but I really doubt that.
Writers are constantly changing their stories.

Anyway, here is a cap from the show, Rex is holding the slipper plant.

Very funny Peter...spreading spoilers again are you? Now I'm going to have to see if you are just pulling our legs.

(cool screen cap though!)

Speaking as something of a desperate housewife myself I could see the slipper obsession plotline as being totally plausible.

But if that woman gets one more facelift her ears are going to meet on the back of her head!

LOL!!
Hey, I could understand if she was a thirty-something w/ no kids trying to find her maternal instinct...:poke: (that would be me, poking myself w/ a stick...)

At any rate, Peter, I have not been able to confirm your sordid rumors...yet...you know I am not this gullible!

Remember, she has a little bit of OCD, does gardening and wants to be that "perfect housewife", so it is something she could easily get into but like I said it is just a rumor and may not be true.

Are you saying I'm a little OCD? :cheeky:

But in a sense, way to go - spread forth the infection and infactuation

Is Desperate Houswives big in Singapore? Here we are now waiting for the second season which will be around September.

That would be a funny story line she is so neurotic already. I was hoping LOST would foray into orchids. They are in the jungle on an Island in the Pacific somewhere.

I've heard nothing but good things about Lost. I need to set up to tivo the re-runs this summer.

Both DH and Lost had cliff hangers and I can't stand cliffhangers!

The writers know that Peter - that's why they do it, of course! :poke:

LOST is a really neat show. It is my second watched show next to West Wing!

The public television did not have Sex in the City but thank goodness we can watch DH over here. I think it has a rather large following.
