I'm looking for suggestions for new acquisitions of small (mature plant size) Phrags. Two that I now have that I feel met this criteria are Phrag. ecua-bess and Phrag. Carol Kanzer. Other ideas? How about Phrag. Silver Eagle?

Thanks,
Paphluvr

They look great! Most besseae and schlimii crosses are small to medium size plants. It's the longifolium and the long petal Phrags that create the larger crosses.

Hi there and welcome to the forum!!
I think that if you want crosses you can go for Schlimii, Fischeri and some of the Besseae crosses.
You can try some made with Pearcei or klotzscheanum(crosses with this one are very seldom seen.
if you find plants made with the long petaled species or with species as wallisii or boisserianum that tend to be big plants.
You can also try the species i mention, word of warning some form of klotzscheanum even when small tend to send stolons.

Happy growing

Thanks Jamie,

This is the type of info I was looking for, or even some specific plant names.
