Leaf? or Sheath?

Not the best photos - the "sheath" looks as though it is a leaf, but has not separated into the v-shaped leaf that the others in the first photo have. So, now I am thinking maybe my Berenice is in sheath?

Any thoughts....?

Heather its hard to tell but it does kinda look like a sheath. Sorry I'm not much help am I. Keep telling your self its going to be a spike maybe it will be. :lol:

Heck, I've been telling myself it's a leaf for a month now....I guess I'll switch sides...:wink:

It SHOULD be a spike, it has like, 3 mature unbloomed growths and 3 new growths, and two previously bloomed and it bloomed exactly a year ago. So....

Hard to tell but from your description, it does sound like a sheath to me. Is that growth fully matured? I can't tell from your pics.

I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

See how the leaf has the v-shape but the "sheath" is flat?
