My mother in law lives in florida. We bought a Sharry baby in March. She has it in the house. Can it be brought outside and up to what temp. can it stand.

It will be a lot happier with all that humidity, light and warm temps outside. dantheman May 17th, 2005, 10:54 AM Should it be kept in shade or morning sun? Paphraguy May 17th, 2005, 10:59 AM Morning sun, late afternoon sun and bright bright shade should be fine. I have seen HUGE specimen sized Sharry Babies in south Florida in bloom and they were all spectacular with hundreds of fragrant flowers and some plants were even mounted onto trees. dantheman May 17th, 2005, 11:04 AM Thanks Pete. Quick response. I knew that I would get an answer here. Great site. Paphraguy May 17th, 2005, 11:32 AM You're welcome! :D Paphgirl May 17th, 2005, 01:19 PM Last year when mine was outside (I give it pretty full afternoon north-western sun all summer long) it bloomed and attracted hummingbirds! dantheman May 17th, 2005, 01:24 PM thanks heather. I called my mother in law and told her to put it out by the lanai. She will put it by Saderiera Japonica. |
