A new forum software upgrade has been released, so the forum may go offline sometime this weekend for the upgrade. It is the very first software upgrade since we changed the forum software, so I have no idea how it will go and I'm scared to death that I may mess up the whole forum, so please wish me good luck and hopefully the upgrade goes well! Hi folks,

The initial upgrade procedure went fine but something went wrong at the final stages. I tried for hours to fix the problem and then I lost internet connection, so I had to revert back to the previous version this morning. I'll try the upgrade again sometime later this week or weekend. Sorry for the downtime, I apologize and thanks for standing by!

I have finally upgraded the forum software to the latest version. Whew, what a nightmare! The forum is now running fine but I still need to check and see if everything is working all right which would probably take me all day or the whole weekend! Thanks and hope you all have a great weekend! :D

I think I'm pretty much done with the upgrading but will still spend some more time to check and see if everything is working fine. One of the new features I like the best is the "multiquote" feature, it is quite handy, I like it!

Thanks! You're so right, all it takes is a little error and the whole forum software can go haywire. I had trouble upgrading and messed up the whole forum but I finally found what was causing all that trouble and now everything is up to date. :Party:
