It's pretty close!
My Paph. micranthum v. eburneum received a 79pt HCC on Saturday, and I think it is a great example of the species. Here is one of my pictures of it.

Extremely nice flower, how old is the plant?

It's a three growth plant. All three growths have bloomed now. I've had it for a few years.

Very nice!

How do you grow it?

Like my other parvi's. 75F day, 60F night. My humidity is low, ~30% but I want it around 55-60%. Fertilized weakly about every week. Micranthum is defintely not the easiest parvi to grow and bloom, that's for sure!

This one is so unique looking I love it! Is it difficult to grow?

It's probably one of the most difficult to grow well out of all the parvi's but it can be done.

I've killed one before too. One of my first Paphs. At least it was a cheap plant!

I have never seen a paph flower like this one before and it is really different looking. The pouch looks way too large and I assume that is normal since you won an award for it? Congratulations by the way!

Then these I'm sure must be quite rare and expensive?

If you compare to the micranthums in the late 80s (many of them were wild ones), this one lack of flatness in the petals and dorsal. In addition, the shape of the petals can be much more rounder.

The color, however, is excellent. The typical micranthum do not have color in the dorsal, the good ones do have color.

I think HCC is suitable for this plant.
