Hi

I'm a little confused about the taxonomy of Paph gardnineri and Paph wilhelminae: are these true species? I can't see any difference...

Paph wilhelminae is officially the current new name for gardineri, so both are the same species and you shouldn't find any difference no matter how hard you looked. Welcome to the forum!

What Casey said is correct. Gardineri is still used but the correct name should be wilhelminae. Welcome!

These names are considered conspecific at this point. The entire glanduliferum/praestans group has very confused taxonomy, and the plants range from sea level to fairly high elevations. The form changes as it moves up the hill, gets smaller in flower and plant size as well as darker. The intermediate forms are pretty variable.
