Dear friends

another outstanding, strange, exotic flower (diameter 23 cm.):

Do you like it? Beautiful shape, but the smell... rotten meat!

It is a easy-to-grow plant: a lot of water/fertilizer during the summer, no water during the winter (just to prevent the dehydration of the succulent stems).

Bye

Interesting looking plant. The plant looks like a cactus.

Stapelias are members of the Apocynaceae family (before Asclepiadaceae): they resemble cactus, but they aren't member of the Cactaceae family as they come from Africa.

Unfortunatly the flowers are short-lived.

Nice!
I had one and the blooms were great, but as stated, the smell was awful!
