View Full Version : Phrag Rachel Kirk
J W Tucker March 5th, 2005, 08:04 AM This is a first bloom seedling from tetraploid parents. It is a cross of Phrag. Don Wimber x Phrag. besseae registered by HP Norton in 2001. I purchased it from him last summer and never expected it would bloom this soon. The natural spread of the flower is 10.3 cm and and as you can see the segments are very full. I'm hoping the other four seedlings bloom out as nicely.

J W Tucker April 24th, 2005, 08:44 PM This one made it into the AOS judging room at our recent show but needs to come back when it grows up! I really hate hearing that! I'll grow it up and try again next year.
Paphraguy April 25th, 2005, 08:26 AM Don't know how I missed this one. I like it, very nice shape and color!

J W Tucker September 29th, 2005, 05:58 PM Just got a line on an am/aos awarded clone of this grex. It will be coming within the next few weeks. I cannot wait!
I think this hybrid is spectacular and a great leap forward from both parents.
