I just recently aquired a seedling Phragmipedium Peruflora’s Cirila Alca/ kovachii x dellasandroi.(about 8 inchs tip to tip) .. i am not that experienced with phrags in general, plenty of paphs. i understand tha everybodys conditions make it difficult to pin down any one way of caring for a plant. But i grow inside under lights hps 400 or 4 t5s. all on humidtiy trays with good fan air circulaiton. 60-70 %humidity,,..temps 60n- 85d.

should i keep it in a tray of water.should i mist daily, should i water daily,pl should i keep it in a area with 800 fc or 2000 fc.. do they like stong ferts or the usual 1/4 strenght weekly.

is dellasandroi a water lover?????

From what you have described your conditions, it sounds like it will grow and be happy in your condition. Phrags don't like to be overly fed, so fertilize lightly.

I agree with Casey. If you do grow in a tray of water make sure you change the water daily.

I would love to try one of these but I'm too afraid I might kill it. If I can just get the conditions right like you have, I might try one. Good luck!

I'd love to grow one of these but I'm still learning and scared of killing it.
