Gives a good introduction to hybridising

And has loads of very pretty pictures!!!

This is a very interesting book with lots of info concerning paph care and hybridizing. Have never seen another book like it. Written by two very well recognized authorities. Many color pictures. Does not focus on species other than their contribution to specific hybrids. Out of print,very seldom available, but usually in demand. Try abebooks.com

I bought mine from Austrailia. It's good reading, but there's more updated information available. Norito stopped by to speak at my orchid society and I told him I finally tracked down the book. He hasn't had a copy for a few years.

When I met Harold in January, 2006 he indicated he was doing another book for timber press. It may be a second addition. rusty

The first few chapters on culture and nomenclature and whatnot are kinda repetetive (given the dozens of articles written on paphs and paph culture), but the chapters on the hybrids are great.

It was published in Australia, so that's probably where you'll have to go to find it.
