Good quality sponge rock is hard to find in Canada, or at least where I live in Canada. I'm talking about sponge rock, not the crumbly perlite stuff. Thats easy to find...

I know a few people on this board are from Minnisota, I hope they ca help me.

I will be in Minneapolis this summer and would like to buy a big bag (30 pounds) of the stuff. Can someone from the area suggest a source for #3 or #4 sponge rock in the Twin Cities or surrounding area?

Thanks for the tip, I was hoping to find it cheaper, but there price is reasonably competative, and I will probably stop there to look around anyways.

I was just at his site and he has #3and#4 size.

Jerry at Orchids Limitted seems to always have a wider selection of sizes in his media. It's where I get my larger perlite(spongerock). Besides, it's a great place to stop just to look at the orchids!
