Far better than I would have imagined that cross to turn out...

Sometimes the weird crosses work, it seems. Not bad!

Interesting and beautiful flower. It's interesting to note that Paph. Beeckmanii, made in 1902 with bellatulum and a similar type of flower, boxalii, is an ancestor of over 8500 complex crosses including Paph. Winston Churchill.
