Hi Avery! Welcome!

I think you may just have an extra [/img] at the very end. Try removing that and see if that works. I look forward to seeing the photos!! walisii is one of my favorites!

Hmmm, well, now I'm not sure. The links work when I copy and paste into my browser window. It is a beautiful plant! I've only seen the first photo so far...

There is an issue w/ the software for uploading photos directly, but your links look like they should work, to me. Pete may be able to help when he gets on, in the meantime I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Wonderful photos Avery! Just beautiful! I love the whiteness of the labellum. Last year, there were several months that I contended I didn't like walisii as much as some of the other Phragmipedium. Honestly, every time I see photos of it now, I don't know what on earth I was thinking!

Yes, these long petal paph and phrag are the most elegant slippers ! Always eye catching and guaranteed ribbon winners in shows as well !!! Do try to get one for yourself ! They are rather easy to get and grow well in almost all conditions, too !!!

I did! It is not quite mature yet, but close and the lindenii I got at the same time is and should hopefully should spike in the not too far future. I can't wait to see one of the long petaled species in person!

Hi avery!

Your pics are beautiful! I don't understand why your photos won't show up but if you can upload your photos to your own site/webspace, then it works. Here is an example, here is YOUR phil photo I got from your website.

Wow ! That is MY phil !!!! My favourite phil !!! Able to reach 9 flowers when the plants grow to its maximum potential. ( I heard that someone blooms 13 flowers before on another division of this plants !!! ) Although I am not sure but it looks good enough for me for breeding already , isn't it ?!

Thanks Pete and I will figure out where I should put those photos in order to let them show up in this nice new site ! :D

Yes, happier than a clam I think!! (What does that mean anyway? Are clams happy? Has anyone asked a clam how happy they are?) I've only now just stopped jumping and carrying on. Poor thing, and here I was making disparaging remarks, now I have to make amends.

How long did yours take again? I just can't believe it! Oh, what a good day!

I like Blue background most. I think the outcome is much more attractive than black one and colours appear sharp with nice contrast ! This is actually a light blue cardboard but I made it a bit declined while taking the photos. The blue side of the board lied in the shadow of itself and that's why it looked like a deeper colour one in the photo !
