Just knocked this up the other day with T5 lighting. Never used artificial lights before but thought that to bring some indoors through winter would bring a little pleasure to this horrible weather. From what you see have I made many mistakes??
Thanks for viewing

have put some waterproof material underneath the unit so I water in the usual way( spraying ).Any that need a full drenching will be removed to the kitchen.

Looks great.

I use T5 lights too and have a similar set-up. It does help cheer up the cloudy days in winter and the plants do very well.

Very nice! The only thing I would change is to add some reflectors to the T5 bulbs. That would get more of the light right on to the plants.

Hello Ed
I am very thrilled for you and I to am working on a plan to construct an indoor growing stand. Are you using cool and full spectrum tubes for your light? If you can find a commercial kitchen supply store they have several sizes of rubber/plastic trays to place under your stand to catch any water. I just spent enough $ redoing my hardwood floors that would pay for a small GH!
