Hello,

Here is a photo of Cypripedium 'Phillipp' which is kentuckiense x macranthos. Unlike 'Aki,' the dorsal sepal is very droopy. It opens up with a green and pink color (not as yellowish as it appears in the photo) which will brighten to pink in the next 2 - 3 days.

Definitely post another picture once the color changes. Also, how big is that flower? Looks absolutely wonderful.

Indeed, do post it again once it colors up. Is this the single growth plant you had last spring? It looks fantastic this year!

Yes, it went from a single flower, 2 stems to 2 flowering stems and 2 smaller stems. Indeed it is happy!

The flowers are smaller than 'Aki' by the way.

Enjoy! By the way, the sepals are very upright this year!

Awesome Paul! You can really see the kentuckiense influence in those sepals and petals. Thanks for the follow up.
