Spring starts late here in Utah, so cold. But here is a picture of a tree peony that I bought as a 12" stick now it is 30" tall and a whopping 50" across: There are at least 14 buds/blooms on it.

More of the same plant different flower:

Pretty!
At first though, when I read the title, I thought it said your "6 year old tree PONY" and I thought that was a little strange. :?

Soooo beautiful. I wish I could have a yard so I can grow these. Here in San Francisco, if you get lucky you can get a bunch of four peonies for twenty dollars. Usually, I see them for 8-12$ per stem. My friend from Minnesota loves them too, but she can't see paying that much for them because she says they grow like weed back home and usually people are giving them away.

You're so lucky to have such a nice plant and to have it grow so quickly!

I love peonies! And ponies for that matter :poke: I am going to bring some back from Chicago someday when I visit my sister. They are everywhere there, but you can't find them anywhere in San Antonio.
