The school greenhouse gave this little plant to my friend. He mounted it. It looks pretty happy and it has a new growth, but nobody has any idea what it is. I know it's hard to tell, but does anyone have any idea what genus this thing might belong to?

Looks like a Dendrobium bigibbum var. compactum hybrid. They are very common at grocery stores and other places now a days.
