Jon in SW Ohio April 30th, 2005, 02:51 AM This is a small plant that has been in a hosta garden next to my front porch for a few years now. This will be its first time blooming as it has been seedling size with one growth for years now. I am pretty sure there are buds inside after very lightly pinching the middle and feeling a nob inside of both. I haven't checked on the others since they are a bit of a walk...but when it stops raining I will get some pics of them as well. Thanks for watching. I couldn't believe it took this long but that's what my records show. It was only a three inch tall seedling with three one inch leaves on it when I planted it on a whim. Never expected it to sprout up the next year...but it had gotten a little larger every year. Hopefully in another two or three years it will grow full size as it is still under a foot tall. It's parents were easily twice it's size in both plant and flower. I hope you've all enjoyed watching it grow...sorry for the gaps. Jon Paphgirl May 18th, 2005, 05:57 AM Beautiful!
