Here is another rose, this one is Broadway. I thought I would have a Queen Elizabeth to show you too, but some @#$&* bug ate the bloom.

Your photos of roses are lovely. How big is your garden and how many roses do you have? Do you have any of the lavendar kind like blue gal and purple moon (I think that's what they're called). Purple, white, and pale green roses are my favorites. And your iris is beautiful. Reminds me of the garden I once had before I gave it up for a cramped one bedroom in the city.

THANKS! I have 10 rosebushes. I just got married last year and moved in to an actual house with an actual yard so I have only been growing roses for about a year. My garden is pretty big, and takes up most of my backyard. I have several flower beds (4 are about 4 x 12 feet and the other spans the length of the house) and if it were up to me I would just make the whole backyard a flower bed. Who needs grass? My grass looks terrible anyway. :embarass: I started as a pot grower and all of my bushes quickly outgrew their pots and went in the ground. I buy most of my roses on sale or bare root because naturally I want to save my money for slippers.
I do have a lavendar rose, a floribunda called "Angel Face". I posted pics of it on the thread http://www.slipperorchidforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4814
I don't have any pure whites or greens...those are next on my list.
