I like the pouch, particularly, reminds me very much of adductum, which I just got, finally. (After months of hearing "when are you getting adductum, get adductum, you should really get adductum. Are you getting an adductum?") So, finally, I did. They are hard to locate!

Jerry Fischer was nice enough to sell me one from his personal collection. It's just a bit over 10" so will be years before it blooms. No clonal name. He had a 'Red Lightening' also, but didn't like the roots.

I don't really care too much about roots anymore. They are only so useful depending on your watering method. With my foliar feeding, it doesn't encourage root growth much at all, but the plants are pretty healthy.

That's very interesting! I really know nothing about foliar feeding. Care to post some sort of introduction, oh, Paph. forum moderator? ;)

I personally have a couple of root starved plants - just two, one arrived that way the other was my fault, (darn me!) so I am curious as to how this all works and if it could help my two poor babies.
