I just discovered that the main page has been modified, can't find my avatar any more and spend some time on searching the new posts count. I kinda liked the way it was displayed before so....... :( :( :(

I see that the header text has been modified, but I can still view recent posts and last 10 topics and such. Not sure what you mean, maybe. Sorry! Paphraguy March 10th, 2006, 12:29 PM I made a few changes to the main page of the forum and one of the changes was the removal of the Welcome box on the right which also displayed the avatar. I removed it because I thought it was redundant and hoped the forum would load faster (but it didn't make much differencel). I put it back where it was. paphjoint March 10th, 2006, 12:47 PM That's much better, guess I'm getting conservative with age whitecat8 March 25th, 2006, 11:45 PM This has been the handiest feature of the site for me, and I wish every other chat group had it. Has it been eliminated? Is it somewhere new? Thanks, Whitecat8 paphreek March 25th, 2006, 11:56 PM This has been the handiest feature of the site for me, and I wish every other chat group had it. Has it been eliminated? Is it somewhere new? Thanks, Whitecat8 It's on the blue bar just above the sponsors and 'Help and Support' along with "User CP", "Home", "FAQ", etc. whitecat8 March 27th, 2006, 01:17 AM Ah, "Recent Posts." It'll go on a new path in the brain. Thanks, Whitecat8 Gideon March 27th, 2006, 04:19 AM The very top blue menu has a New Post (http://www.slipperorchidforum.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew) button paphjoint March 27th, 2006, 04:43 AM Is it possible to display a "new posts since last visit" counter? Paphraguy March 27th, 2006, 07:25 AM Is it possible to display a "new posts since last visit" counter? I don't know but I'm still working on a lot of features that come with this software. They may even have a mod for that, I don't know. nautilus March 27th, 2006, 11:38 AM Hmm.. been away for a couple of days and new design? Wendy April 5th, 2006, 03:40 PM *sigh* Sorry to be a stick in the mud but I prefered the old set up much better. I just can't get used to this one. Hopefully with a little more time i will adjust to it. Paphraguy April 5th, 2006, 05:13 PM Is it possible to display a "new posts since last visit" counter? I installed a new feature, "XXX unread posts since your last visit" in the welcome box. I think that was what you were asking about. It is server database and CPU intensive, so when it starts to slow down and crashes the server, I'll have no choice but to remove it. Paphgirl April 5th, 2006, 06:35 PM I like the new posts feature (I missed that) and I also like the besseaes, cute! Paphraguy April 5th, 2006, 06:48 PM I like the new posts feature (I missed that) and I also like the besseaes, cute! Thanks! I also like the posts feature but like I said it is very server intensive which means when lots of members log on at the same time, it will crash the server and those annoying CPU messages will pop up again and then the host will start complaining again as well. Once we move to at least a VPS (dedicated server is best but most expensive), we won't have that problem. For now, we should be fine with the current server. paphjoint April 6th, 2006, 01:51 AM Thank you Peter!! Mang May 3rd, 2006, 02:03 AM I like the new posts feature (I missed that) and I also like the besseaes, cute! Getting to like the new set up but why only besseaes? Not fair Guruji!!
