Spent half a day - nearly 75,000 orchids on display including the vendors and more than 250,000 visitors (all there when I was, seemingly!). Here are some of the slippers that I found interesting and could get through the crowd to shoot. Too many to show photos so here are the links:

This was my favorite:

As a Phrag newbie I did increase my collection with six additional species. One dealer had 8 spectacular Paph rothschildianum, each with one or two open flowers and additional buds, each plant with the most brilliant colors I have seen, but at $350 each I thought I should become a bit more experienced with these guys (these plants made the "inexpensive" $150 rothschildianum to shame).

Excellent pics! :joy: My favorite is the roth and the caudatum which to me looks like a warscewiczianum. Thanks for the great show!

I would also have voted on the roth but if there is one in the group it is always hard to argue that it isnt the best!

Nice Jason Fischer - who's was that?

Also, Glen (of Piping Rock's) plants are really primo! I liked the Don Wimber and the caudatum is very nice! Is that more than one plant??
