I mad ethe trip to the Show on Sat. took a bus and that went well the show has to be the best I have ever seen. The plant material was awesome to say the least I got to see all the long petaled Phrags I have been looking for, I also got to meet Ron at the show we had a good talk while he was on break. The vendors areas were just too crowded when I was there. I managed to get at least one big slipper a Kolopangii ' Charles in bloom with another mature growth. I would have bought more but it was to crowded on the bus to take plants and I wasn't going to put them in the baggage hold. I went to this show a few yrs. ago but this year outdid any previous shows . maybe it's because of the prize money they offer to the winners. Ray

Well from the bottom of the pot to the top of the spike is 32" and each leave measures 24" it has two leaves on each side with the sheath in the middle it's large i have it on a pedestal in the dinning room for now. I have a few of these big plants but they take thier share of room.I'm getting ready to put some cymbidums outside for the summer so I can rearrange a new area. Good luck with your Kolo Oh and my plant has four blooms. Ray

Thanks! It is the largest of the Paph species and it is still debatable that the newly discovered gigantifolium is the largest. Anyway, your plant should have more blooms the next time it flowers. One HUGE one I saw in bloom had at least 10 flowers on a very tall spike!!! And they were fragrant also.

I'm not really a fan of NYC but for orchids I may think about making it next year.
