Hi folks,
A few of our members suggested that we post our first names in the location field in the profile, that way it will bring our slipper community closer with our first names rather than being annonymous. Just go in your profile and add your first name in the Location field for example mine says Pete in Maine, USA.
Thanks and have a great day!

Great idea Peter! Anonymity serves no purpose in a close community.

I have no problem with that.
I'd also like to see the country or state of origin. Most do already, but it's fun to see how we are from all over the world.

Lol, I thought the same thing earlier today after seeing one of Jon's posts.
Will get around to editing mine.
I must say, when we have someone/s new and I reply directly, I tend to make sure to include my sig line in my first few posts to them so they know my true name.
I've also often thought of having Pete change my username to Heather. As a moderator, maybe it is more professional, but then again, it is on my resume, and people I am interviewing with HAVE been looking at the forum! So I suppose maybe it has just been on my mind as of late.
