Well, someone must have a large greenhouse!
My kolo is teensy, well, actually almost a foot in ls, and it is a baby! If the fans and humidifier are off, I can sometimes hear it growing.
Congrats to all you lucky sheath owners!
wolfcreekmn April 15th, 2005, 05:55 PM Very nice looking flowers. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Jon in SW Ohio April 15th, 2005, 06:41 PM One of my favorite species and great photo of it.
Steve...I think you have my dream job.
Mine was enormous until it bloomed and now all the side shoots are very slow growing. It is the greener flowered "topperi" and used to take up nearly a 4x4 section of bench space. Now it only takes up about 2x2.
Anyone know if Orchid Inn has ooii in flask? My understanding is that it is the largest member of the genus. And it gets MANY flowers on an infloresence.
Jon
SteveT April 15th, 2005, 11:49 PM Gigantifolium is the largest of the genus, but ooii has the tallest inflorence from what I understand. And no, ooii aren't legal anywhere from what I understand.
And for those of you who don't know, ooii is pronounced "we eye"
RickL April 16th, 2005, 01:23 PM Thanks Steve
