I guess the top is (delenatii x hangianum) or (emersonii x hangianum)
The bottom I would guess to be (armeniacum x jackii?)

I'm thinking they both use newer species...but the bottom is difficult due to armeniacum's dominance.

Thank you sooooo much for posting those photos! As you know we don't see hangianum or vietnamense as parents in hybrids yet(except Ho Chi Minh) in US and I love seeing their influence in hybrids. Great quality photos and plants too.

BTW, you don't have any hangianum x rothschidianum or vietnamense x rothschildianum do you?
I can't wait to see what they look like, but I think it will be a couple years before any of them would be around long enough to be in bloom.

I would love to see a vietnamense x rothschildianum! I bought one last month, but it is a few years from blooming. How big do you think it will have to be before it blooms? Think it wll bloom on a single growth?

I have both seedlings and they should be able to bloom in a few years time ...

vietnamense x roths should yield flowers similar to Delrosi with much darker colour. However, shape may be a problem for it...

hangianum x roths should be flowers with improved flower substance. Colouration may varies ... may have to see the clones of hangianum used.

1. hangianum x concolor?
2. hangianum x niveum?
3,4. vietnamense x micranthum?

How did I do? I like these "guess the parentage" photos. Candor Orchids used to do this on their website and I always enjoyed trying my eyes on them.

Thanks again for these wonderful photos of the new hybrids!

I was going to say that based on the leaf pattern...but I thought bellatulum would be more dominant on the flower. Very neat hybrids...can't wait to see more.
