I got my new update for Wildcatt today and while checking my primaries for names they had listed a "Paph. ogon". I know ogon means gold/golden in japanese so I'm guessing this is a natural hybrid from Japan?? I've never heard this name used as a synonym or natural hybrid before and would love some input.

Sorry...I should have cleared up what I meant.
Paph. Ogon is a complex hybrid, but what I'm talking about was listed as a species....did a Google and a page was found that also listed it as a species. Couldn't find it listed on Dr. Tanaka's site, so I don't know. Thinking it is one of those never validly published names like Paph. baccanum that is really common on old Rand's price lists as a "new species".
Sorry for the confusion.
