Hey Y'all,

I've got a beautiful plant of Les Dirouilles 4n, 2 mature growths and 3 new growths. I expect it to bloom this year or early next, and am already wondering what to cross it with (I can't help but plan ahead :D ). Les Dirouiles has three registered crosses: Rozel (x China Dragon), Gerry Dizon (x besseae), and Quetivel Mill (x Mont Pinel).

Does Anyone have pics of these flowers? Have any been awarded?

I would like to cross this plant w/ a 4n Jason Fischer or St. Ouen. What do y'all think? In general, what is the experience of crossing these large, long-petaled warmer growers with the smaller flowering more compact cooler-growing hybrids and species???

Hello Brian,

I think you should have a try at it... :) Provided they are both 4n there should be no problems with your intended cross. No cultural problems later either... Phrags are fairly tolerant of various cultural conditions.

Good luck !
