The photo was taken in my greenhouse this morning in very early morning light. Lots of red and yellow highlights is a result. I wish I had darkened the black background a bit, rather than just blurring it; dusty black velvet isn't pretty.

Behind this flower is an inflorescence with what looks like at least two more buds forming, so the multifloral tendency of moquetteanum is present in the primary generation.

You can darken the background in photoshop, early morning light is the best lighting for almost any shot

I concur with all of the above comments, except it really needs Carolina sunshine to really bring out the colors...GIVE IT TO ME :evil:
