i wont be going but i sent some paphs w/jim marlow(marlowsorchids) a paph. fanaticum,paph,wardii and some complex hybrids!

Jim's a nice guy I always enjoy talking with him I'll have to check out your plants.

jim is a super guy he is going to have a nice show table. it better look nice i worked my butt of on it today :mad:

I gave an orchid culture talk there once. They are very knowledgeable growers!

Stan, I met Jim at a New Hampshire Orchid Society show about 3 years ago. I bought a few things from him and we chatted for a while. Very nice individual!

i'll be there thursday to set up then probably sunday to tear down

Hi Brian, were people there late. just wondering we had two people up there and I never heard what time they got done some one will call today and fill me in They always have a good show.

I hear that I already pre ordered from Glen My only resort is I am limited on what I can buy for lack of room in the car I am going with friends plus I will be bringing my display plants home also. I would like to get some things from Kelly's Looking forward to it though but by Sun. it will be all picked through the good one's anyway unless Nick from A&P has somthing interesting he usually refreshes his supply if he sells well the day before. When would you go Heather.

I know what you mean Heather I'm not looking forward to the drive I'm only a passenger but I have trouble being in a car that long I really can't travel but I hate to pass it up . they are to few around here to pass one up.Besides I would like to get my pats home as soon a I can. I didn't enter anything that terrific so I'm not expecting any thing I just wanted to help the display at first we didn't have many plants offered for the show but last minute we ended up with 35 plants .I haven't heard a thing about the show though.Someone must have gone there today. I'll try to take pic's but I'm not that good with the camera.

waa :therethere: , i mean, right, the drive sucks. it was only about an hour and a quarter from providence. boss-man gave me permission to leave a little early on sunday so i get to go to the show a whole half hour! (i did help set-up, though, so i saw much of it)
it is really big, at least compared to most of the shows to which i've been. perhaps i'm over-selling it, but for overall volume of orchids in bloom...
(perhaps i should mention that the cape and the islands show was, i'm pretty sure, my first :embarass: and has always been my favorite new england show.)

I went last year and had a good time, except for very high snow banks. The resort, where it is held, is right on the water and the view from the dinning room is to kill for. Stan, I had dinner with jim marlow and a few other vendors. He is a nice guy. Can't make it this year.
