I've never seen one in person, nor have I seen a closeup photograph of one in bloom, so I'm curious... Does Phrag besseae var flavum have yellow fuzz, or no fuzz, on the bloom?

Yes they are fuzzy if you look at the flowers really up close.

The besseae flavum is quite hairy when looking closely.

Thanks! I was just wondering because there's so much fuzz on my regular besseae that I couldn't tell if the flower was red, or just the fuzz.
